Hello everyone! As you can see, Ava and I have been working on photographing my latest notebooks and getting them into the shop. I've been adding them throughout the last few days, and will continue to list them as the week goes on. I'm excited to finally have something new to share with you. I'd love it if you'd go check them out.
Tomorrow I'll have some photos from my lovely Saturday in Sacramento to share with you. Happy Tuesday!

I am considering the Diana+ Nightcap from Urban Outfitters, but I have some reservations. It is on a pretty excellent sale right now, and I am tempted because I really love the dreamy images I've seen that others have gotten from this camera. BUT...as I mentioned before, I have been having trouble making myself take photos and I imagine I would be even worse if I had to take film in to be developed. Also, I'm not a trained or skilled photographer AT ALL...I don't know if I would be able to get pretty pictures from this camera. Still, I think it would be pretty awesome to have....what do you think?

Yep, I'm pretty pleased with myself these last few days. I opened a savings account, got my W2, have a pretty tidy house and now...making books. I'm practically an adult.

Photos from a bananas estate sale in the Santa Cruz area that Steve and I went to a few weekends ago. Sooooo much stuff! Literally mountains of junk; lots of rusty tools and bicycles and I don't even know what.

My neighborhood, originally uploaded by wickedfreshie.

The time goes by so quickly, and now Spring is pretty much here. I think I can tell because it has been so warm, but that doesn't really mean much in San Francisco. I got pretty sick this month, but now I am nearly fully recovered and I think I am ready to state my Springtime goals. Kind of a plan for the my spring cleaning of my life, you could say. My first goal is to keep a tidy house. Steve and I did a big rubbish clearing out at the end of last month, and so far we've been pretty good about doing our chores, at least in the front part of the house. So I'd like to keep up with that, as well as slowly make our bedroom tidier and work on other untidy corners.

My second goal is to eat more fruits and vegetables. In the last month or so the staples of my diet have been cheese crackers and wine. I'd like to squeeze a few more plants in there.

My third goal is to take more photos. I am forever toting my camera around, but I very rarely pull it out of my bag. I think because I am a fairly poor photographer, and taking photos in public makes me feel very self conscious. But practice makes perfect and the more I do it, the more comfortable I will become, right?

My fourth goal is to take more time for artistic pursuits. I've really put all my making aside since the new year, so this means making more books. I'd also like to do more printing and collaging and drawing. I think my main problem here will be balancing my time between arty stuff, domestic duties and my fifth goal;

Goal Five: be more social. I was recently put in a situation that made me realize that I am horrible at talking. I need to put real effort into spending more time with people so I don't forget how to speak altogether.

My final goal, goal six, is to be more find-able. This means blogging more, updating my shop more, stuff like that. Stuff that I have certainly been neglecting as of late.

What are you goals for this year?

I am super psyched on the spring line from TOMS Shoes. I wholeheartedly recommend owning a pair.
