Whoa. Where is this place and what is that dish? it looks delicious and I want to go! :) I have lunch envy of you. ;)
It's on Mission here in San Francisco. They basically serve variations fried pork, and they all come with rice and beans, plaintains, a cabbage salad like curdito, and fried cheese. yes, fried cheese. it is crazy delicious. lunch there is enough food for an entire day!

I am making a mental note & the next time I get off at SFO I may have to stop in! I haven't had a decent plantain since the Dominican Republic and fried cheese will totally seal the deal for my husband. He nearly drooled on my laptop when I showed him these pics... like a Homer Simpson moment. ;)
well, if you are here you have to let me know and i'll be happy to take you =) i don't know if it'll be as good as what you get in the dominican republic though.
